➧ STUDENT LU HAN — Twenty — Senior — DORM: B-18 ;; ASPIRING PEDIATRICIAN !
Background / Personality : There’s always just been something about life that makes him smile. Whether it’s a small thing like the sun shining or even a dismal, dreary day, Lu Han has always been a little ray of sunshine. But the sweet, friendly boy is really rather shy on the inside. Although he makes friends easily and doesn’t have a difficult time getting to know new people, he has a very difficult time completely trusting people. It’s not that he doesn’t want to, no. It’s just that somehow, somehow, it just doesn’t work out. He doesn’t exactly understand why, honestly. It’s as though there’s a barrier there, an invisible one that neither of them can get past, and sometimes it hurts. But he always tries his best. He is constantly told how he doesn’t look his age. And perhaps it’s true. He certainly doesn’t look like he’s twenty and a senior. In fact, he is commonly mistaken for a freshman or a sophomore, and he’s pretty much used to it.
What else? Well, he moved to Korea as an international student. He told his parents that it was something he had always wanted to do, and that the job opportunities in Korea were better than in China, and it was true, to some degree. The truth was, Lu Han just wanted to explore. He wanted to go everywhere he could, and Korea was appealing to him. Money was never the issue. His family owned a business, and while he had been expected to take over when he got older, it was quite clear that he did not find any interest in that field whatsoever. Instead, he got his happiness from working with children, and he started taking care of his younger brother as soon as he could. Seeing his happiness, his parents could not bear to force him into working in their business, and hoped that their youngest son would someday grow up and want to take the reins.
So instead, Lu Han came to Korea, where his last name and first name were combined together to create a Korean sounding name (people never seemed to realize that his first name was only one syllable). He didn’t regret it. He loved the place, and he honestly couldn’t tell whether Korea felt more like home or China.[ ♛ ] ACCEPTED CLASS SCHEDULE !SUNDAY: FREEDAY! —- MONDAY: CALCULUS —- TUESDAY: CHEMISTRY —- WEDNESDAY: HOSPITAL INTERNSHIP —- THURSDAY: EAST ASIAN HISTORY —- FRIDAY: LITERATURE —- SATURDAY: FREEDAY!
